Attractions at Dezerland Park
With over 800,000 square feet of entertainment space, Dezerland Park packs a huge variety of attractions under one roof. From world record exhibits to thrill rides and arcade games, there are activities for all ages to enjoy.
Prices vary by attraction and to play any of the arcade games you first need to get a PlayCard and buy credits at one of the PlayCard dispensing machines. PlayCards have a one-time activation fee of $1.
Depending on the value that you put on the PlayCard, you can get bonus bucks added for free.
PlayCards are also valid at some but not all of the other attractions at Dezerland. You can also pay and play using your Apple or Android phone by downloading the Dezerland app.
Note that most attraction tickets prices include tax but there are a few exceptions including the Auto Museum, Pinball Palace and Putting Edge.
When you enter Dezerland through the main entrance, you will see the Auto Museum directly ahead and then the other attraction fan off to the left or the right.
Here is an overview of some of the top attractions awaiting visitors to Dezerland Park Orlando.
Orlando Auto Museum
One of the premier attractions at Dezerland Park is the Orlando Auto Museum. This museum houses the private antique and exotic car collection of billionaire Michael Dezer.
It holds the Guinness World Record for the largest collection of its kind anywhere in the world. Worth over $200 million, many of the cars are actually for sale.
With over 2,000 rare and unique vehicles on display, the museum spans over 300,000 square feet. You can spend several hours marvelling at one-of-a-kind autos ranging from Hollywood picture cars to historic prototypes and exotic sports models.
Some highlights of the massive museum include:
- The Guinness World Record holder for the longest car ever built (more details below).
- Famous TV and movie vehicles like a DMC DeLorean time machine from Back to the Future, the serial number 1 George Barris Batmobile from the 1966 Adam West Batman film as well as many other Batmobiles, a Ford Gran Torino from Starsky and Hutch, an Ectomobile from Ghostbusters, several cars from the Fast and Furious films, and many many more. Nearly all of them are originals.
- Rare prototypes and concept cars that were built but never made it to production from major brands like Ford, Cadillac, Chevrolet, and more.
- Celebrity owned cars previously belonging to stars like Elton John, Simon Cowell, and more. One car is the 1934 Ford V8 Deluxe Sedan driven by Bonnie and Clyde.
- One-of-a-kind custom fabricated limousines, hot rods, and exotic rides like Lady Penelope’s “Rolls Royce” from Thunderbirds.
Using the map you are given when entering the museum you simply follow the footprints painted on the ground to navigate your way around the exhibits.
Guinness World Records Longest Car Exhibit
One of the first cars you see when entering the museum is The American Dream, a stretched limousine based on the 1976 Cadillac Eldorado, weighing in at 5,000 pounds.
It is the current Guinness World Record holder for the longest drivable car with a length of 100 feet and 1.5 inches (30.54 meters), powered by two 7.2 litres V8 engines and running on 26 wheels.
Inside it can seat up to 75 people with a king-size waterbed, disco floor, full bar and Plasma TVs. Towards the rear is a putting green, jacuzzi hot tub and helicopter pad.
During its life it has featured in a number of films and promotional music videos.
It was originally built in 1986 by car customiser Jay Ohrberg at a length of 60 feet (18.28 metres) and was then extended to 100 feet but due to its impracticality and high maintenance costs, it fell into disrepair.
In 2019, it was purchased by Mr. Dezer and restored to running condition in his own auto body school. In the process it was extended by an extra inch and a half to beat it’s own record on March 1st, 2022.
Themed Lounges
The museum has been cleverly laid out using some of the original shop layouts into a series of around 20 themed garages or “lounges” housing cars from different eras, themes and countries. As well as many American cars you can also find collections from Great Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Russia and even Israel.
The Military Pavilion houses many wartime vehicles used by the United States and its Allies.
One of the best rooms is the Cars of the Stars. It contains cars from TV shows and films with many of them being the original set vehicles whilst a few are realistic recreations. It brings back memories to see many well known cars from films and TV shows you might have watched over the years.
Car fans will be in heaven exploring the Orlando Auto Museum's incredible selection of vehicles, movie/TV cars, prototypes, and over 100 years of automotive history. Mr. Dezer is an avid collector and buys auto collections from all over the world. This has resulted in an eclectic mix of all things automotive related, most of which is in full working order.
If your interest is in two wheels instead of four then you will not be disappointed by the Harley Lounge, Motorized Bike Lounge, and Vespa Lounge displaying hundreds of pedal cycles, motor bikes and scooters.
There is also the Micro Cars Lounge dedicated to compact cars including German and Italian bubble cars like the Messerschmitt KR200 and BMW Isetta that were very popular after World War II. You will also find British Bond Bug and Reliant micro cars as well as early present day electric cars like the 1970s Sebring-Vanguard CitiCar.
For the ultimate adventure, consider purchasing a VIP guided tour ticket during which you will actually be able to sit in some of the famous cars. Tours are at 12 p.m., 2 p.m., 4 p.m., and 6 p.m. daily.
Look out for special offers in the various coupon books that you can pick up as you can often get a 2 for 1 deal on admission to the auto museum.
Prices (excluding tax) are:
- Adult — $29.95
- Senior/Military — $23.95
- Child (aged 4 to 12) — $20.95
- Child (under 4) — Free
The VIP Tour is an additional $15.00.
Even if you do not want to pay to enter the Auto Museum, there are still plenty of cars to view throughout Dezerland Park, and remember your Auto Museum ticket also gives you free admission to the Bond Museum.

Festival Bay Beginnings
Dezerland Park Orlando's long history and evolution laid the groundwork for the world-class entertainment destination it is today. The site was home to several previous attractions before being reimagined by Dezer Development.
In the late 1980s, real estate developer Melvin Simon teamed up with retailer Thornton Park to launch Festival Bay Mall; envisioned as a retail, dining and entertainment complex. The $100 million project broke ground in 1997 and finally opened in 2002.
Major tenants included national retailers like Bass Pro Shops, Ron Jon Surf Shop, and Shepler's Western Wear. The mall also featured a 29-screen movie theater, making it the largest cinema in Orlando during the 1990s. Vans opened a Skatepark and Ron Jon had plans to build a Surfpark but it never materialised.
Despite ambitions to become a premier shopping and entertainment destination, Festival Bay struggled to compete with massive malls like Mall at Millenia and Florida Mall. Foot traffic declined over the years and anchor stores began vacating their spaces.
In 2011 Festival Bay was acquired by new owners with the intention of revitalising it. They renamed it Artegon Marketplace, investing in renovations and a new tenant mix to create an artisan retail space.
Artegon opened in 2014, featuring local shops, restaurants, breweries, and art studios. A candy factory, comedy club and food hall with local eateries also opened. However, the unconventional mall model did not take off as hoped and it was shuttered again in 2017.
Finally, in 2018, Dezer Development purchased the property. Dezer's vision was to transform the complex into a world-class indoor theme park and entertainment center.
After extensive renovations, Dezerland Park Orlando emerged in 2020. By combining popular attractions with innovative new concepts, Dezer breathed exhilarating new life into the iconic Orlando site.
The entertainment destination has come full circle, realising the ambitious goals first dreamed up decades ago. Reimagined for the modern era, Dezerland Park stands ready to dazzle visitors for years to come!
